Cannes Yachting Festival 2026 starts tomorrow with Jonkers brands in the spotlight
Starting tomorrow, Tuesday 8 September, the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026 kicks off. For a full week, the French Riviera revolves around new yachts, with Fairline, Absolute Yachts and Jeanneau all exhibiting with their own stand. As the dealer for these three brands, Jonkers Yachts is attending the show itself this year, and we are happy to take you through what there is to see.
What is the Cannes Yachting Festival?
The Cannes Yachting Festival celebrates its 49th edition this year and is regarded as one of the largest in-water boat shows in Europe. The show runs from Tuesday 8 to Sunday 13 September, spread across two locations: the Vieux Port, in the heart of Cannes at the foot of Le Suquet, and Port Canto, at the eastern end of the Croisette. Last year the show attracted more than 56,600 visitors and over 680 exhibitors, with a total of more than 710 boats and yachts between 5 and 55 metres on the water.
The Vieux Port is the domain of motor yachts and marine innovation, featuring the latest launches from leading shipyards. Port Canto brings together the sailing fleet, the brokerage market for pre-owned superyachts, the toys area and the powerboat marina, making it the place for both sailing yachts and smaller motorboats up to 13 metres.
Fairline and Absolute Yachts make a splash in the Vieux Port
Fairline can be found at stand PAN222 – PAN014 in the Vieux Port, where the brand celebrates the world premiere of the Targa 58 GTO. This new flagship within the Targa range was designed by Fairline’s own Design Team in collaboration with J&J Naval Architecture, and combines the sporty Targa lines with an electrically lowering patio door, fold-out balconies and a redesigned waterside zone with a Beach Club platform. You can read more about this model and the renewed Targa 47 Open and 47 GT in our news article about the new Fairline models.
A little further along, at stand PAN214 – PAN008, Absolute Yachts presents the world premiere of no fewer than three new models at once: the Navetta 50 Calypso, the Navetta 58 Andromeda and the Navetta 66 Aurora, together known as Generation 2026. The three Navettas were already shown to the dealer network in May this year during Under the Stars in Italy; Cannes is the moment they make their debut for the general public. You can read more about these models in our news article about the new Absolute Navettas.
Jeanneau exhibits in Port Canto with two stands
Jeanneau can be found this year in Port Canto, with its own stand in both the powerboat marina (stand POWER148/050) and the sailing area (stand SAIL240/071). The brand displays a large part of its fleet there; whether the brand new Cap Camarat 6.0 CC and the new EX 34 Cabin and Hardtop are also physically on show here has not yet been confirmed. You can read more about these new models in our news article about the new Jeanneau models.
