Jeanneau presents the Cap Camarat 6.0 CC and the brand new EX 34 models

The Cap Camarat range has been one of Jeanneau’s best-known model lines for more than forty years, with over 35,000 units sold worldwide to date. The range is known for combining a sporty character, high build quality and broad everyday usability. From compact dayboats to more spacious cabin versions, the line-up serves a large part of the market for open sportboats. With the Cap Camarat 6.0 CC, Jeanneau deliberately returns to the entry-level segment, with a design that is noticeably inspired by Northern European boating style.

Jeanneau surprises with a brand new line, the EX

Alongside the Cap Camarat 6.0 CC, Jeanneau has even bigger news this season: an entirely new boat line under the name Jeanneau EX, with the motto ‘Ready When You Are’. Where the Cap Camarat range has been a familiar face for decades, the Jeanneau EX line marks a genuine expansion of the brand into a new kind of dayboat, compact, sporty, and designed to always be ready for a spontaneous outing on the water. The line debuts straight away with two characters: the Jeanneau EX 34 Cabin and the Jeanneau EX 34 Hardtop.

Both models share the same 10.4-metre hull, a light and compact deep-V hull capable of speeds up to 40 knots, and were designed by Jeanneau Design in collaboration with Centowski & Denert Design. On board, everything is built around five living zones that flow into one another: the aft swim platform, the cockpit, the central saloon, the helm station and the forward saloon, always with the sheltered heart of the boat as the central gathering point. With the Jeanneau EX line, the brand shows it is looking beyond the familiar Cap Camarat and Merry Fisher families, daring to enter an entirely new segment. The Jeanneau Cap Camarat 6.0 CC opens an iconic range to a new audience

With the Cap Camarat 6.0 CC, Jeanneau expands the popular Cap Camarat range at the entry-level side, immediately introducing a new stylistic signature that will gradually be rolled out across the rest of the line-up. The compact dayboat measures 5.94 metres in length (5.74 metres hull length), or 6.78 metres including the bathing platform, with a beam of 2.32 metres and a draft of just 0.47 metres. This makes the model easy to trailer, and it fits within the dimensions of a standard 40ft container, which also makes it interesting for export markets and for owners who want to transport their boat over longer distances without needing special transport.

The hull has been redesigned for a more comfortable ride, even in choppier water, and the full-width, panoramic steering console is inspired by that of the larger Cap Camarat 9.0 CC from 2025. A spacious storage cabin is also accessible from the bow, and the open foredeck offers plenty of room for equipment or luggage. This means the entry-level model benefits from the same modern design language as its larger siblings within the line-up, which is far from a given in this price segment. The design is a collaboration between Jeanneau Design and Sarrazin Design. Thanks to its compact size and accessible pricing, Jeanneau Powerboats is clearly targeting this model at a new generation of watersports enthusiasts who want to experience the sea more freely and actively, as well as at rental companies, boat clubs and sailing schools, for whom a robust, low-maintenance and versatile boat is essential.

Technology and layout of the new Jeanneau models

Each of the three new models has its own character and its own technical story. Below we introduce the Cap Camarat 6.0 CC, the EX 34 Cabin and the EX 34 Hardtop one by one, including the key specifications.

Cap Camarat 6.0 CC, the accessible entry-level model

The Jeanneau Cap Camarat 6.0 CC comes standard with a 115 hp outboard engine, a power output that is more than sufficient for most boating areas and uses, with a fuel tank of 136 litres. Those who want more power can opt for a 150 hp version, which also makes the model suitable for watersports such as waterskiing and wakeboarding. A striking new feature is the Aqua Top, a floating mat that can be taken on board and extends relaxing moments at anchor, ideal for an afternoon of swimming and sunbathing on the water. An ambiance pack inspired by the larger models in the line-up is also available, and Jeanneau expands the colour and material range with a new Light Blue hull colour and the Baltic and Iceberg upholstery combinations. The rear platforms are designed to make access to the water easier, and the layout offers generous seating around the console and plenty of storage space for everyday essentials. The world premiere of the Cap Camarat 6.0 CC takes place at the Grand Pavois in La Rochelle, from 22 to 27 September 2026.

Jeanneau EX 34 Cabin, comfortable cruising in every season

The Jeanneau EX 34 Cabin is the fully enclosed version within the new EX line and is designed for those who want to cruise longer, further and in all conditions, from the height of summer to the end of the season. Distinctive is the bright, all-glass wheelhouse that provides shelter the moment the weather turns, combined with a wide sliding door that seamlessly connects the wheelhouse and the aft deck the moment the sun comes out. Thanks to heating and air conditioning, cruising all year round is no problem, even in winter or early spring. The helm station also transforms effortlessly into a bright, inviting interior saloon, bathed in natural light, once you are moored up. On board, everything is built around the same five living zones as the Hardtop, with the sheltered heart of the boat as the central gathering point. The EX 34 Cabin offers two standard cabins and a separate head compartment, with a contemporary forward cabin that lets in plenty of natural light and a layout that can be arranged to your preference. The result is a boat that gives you the freedom to head out more often, go further, and never worry about the weather.

Jeanneau EX 34 Hardtop, open-air living without compromise

Where the EX 34 Cabin is all about shelter, the Jeanneau EX 34 Hardtop is all about life in the open air. A wide-opening door and a soft top that can be deployed or stowed in a single motion make it possible to switch within seconds between an open boat in the sun and a sheltered cabin the moment the sky changes. The helm station can be operated from both a seated and a standing position and offers an unobstructed all-round view, while everything is just as intuitive and within easy reach as on the Cabin version. Practical touches include the standard roof rack, suitable for boards or bikes, complemented by a sliding hatch and an optional electrically opening soft top. The aft deck and cockpit are designed to transform effortlessly into an outdoor galley or lounge area, ideal for a long day on the water that flows into a relaxed evening. The Hardtop also offers two standard cabins and a separate head compartment, with the same freedom and versatility as the Cabin, but with the sun firmly on your face.
