Storing your yacht tax-free First customs warehouse in the EU

In June 2021, we opened the very first EU customs warehouse in the Netherlands and surrounding countries for seagoing sailing and motor yachts between 12 and 80 metres. Our warehouse has been set up in cooperation with the Dutch customs authorities and SGS Maco Customs Service. In our warehouse SGS Maco Customs Service takes care of all customs formalities.

Who is it for?
Our customs warehouse is a godsend for owners, importers/dealers and (mega) yacht builders who are looking for a temporary storage solution for their yacht in the Netherlands, without having to pay import duties and taxes.

When should you store your yacht in our customs warehouse?

• When selling or delivering a yacht in the EU at a later date.
• When trading-in a yacht from non-EU countries.
• When awaiting customs clearance (VAT status).
• When the yacht is on consignment or for brokerage.
