Jonkers Yachts Academy Days 2026

Join us on 30 and 31 October at Marina Port Zélande for two days dedicated to your enjoyment and confidence on the water. Take the helm during a guided sea trial, learn practical skills and meet specialists who can help you explore the possibilities for your current or future yacht.

You are welcome to visit without registering. To join a sea trial or workshop, please reserve your place using the booking system below. Further down this page, you will find the full programme and a description of each activity to help you choose.

Sea Trial Experience Volvo Penta IPS with Assisted Docking & DPS

Step aboard and discover Volvo Penta IPS with an experienced skipper by your side. During this guided sea trial, you will have the opportunity to try the system and explore Assisted Docking and the Dynamic Positioning System (DPS).

Experience the controls for yourself, ask questions as you go and discover what these technologies could mean for your time on the water.

Sea Trial Take the helm with Yamaha Helm Master EX

Discover Yamaha Helm Master EX and experience its joystick control during a guided sea trial. With an experienced skipper on hand, you can try manoeuvring for yourself and become familiar with the system.

Explore the technology available on today’s Jeanneau powerboats and discuss how it could suit the way you like to boat.

Sea Trial Experience Hydronautica aboard the Linssen Grand Sturdy 45.0 AC

Join us aboard the Linssen Grand Sturdy 45.0 AC and discover Hydronautica in practice. Try the system under expert guidance and get a feel for manoeuvring this Linssen yourself.

There is time to ask questions, explore the onboard controls and enjoy an introduction to both the yacht and its technology.

Thinking about updating your navigation equipment? Join Raymarine and Garmin for a workshop on the latest developments and the possibilities for your yacht.

Discover new equipment, discuss your current setup and ask the questions that matter to you. Whether you are considering an upgrade or exploring options for a future yacht, the specialists will be happy to help you consider the choices.

Workshop Get to know your onboard electrics with ASA Boot Electro

Your electrical installation supports much of the comfort and convenience you enjoy on board. In this workshop, Twan Bogert of ASA Boot Electro will introduce onboard electrical installations and energy systems, with room for your questions.

Discuss your current setup, your requirements and the possibilities for your yacht with someone who knows the subject inside out.

Workshop Practise lines, knots, fenders & docking with Alexander Jonkers

Small practical skills can make a real difference to your day on the water. Join Alexander Jonkers for a hands-on workshop covering lines and knots, the correct positioning of fenders and practical docking tips.

Whether you are building your confidence or refreshing familiar skills, this is an opportunity to practise, ask questions and take useful knowledge back on board.

Safety on the water with the KNRM

Meet the KNRM, the Royal Netherlands Sea Rescue Institution, for a talk on safety on the water. Drawing on situations their crews encounter in practice, they will share experiences and insights to help you feel better prepared on board.

Our showroom features an extensive selection of new and pre-owned yachts. Our sales advisers will be happy to show you around, answer your questions and hear more about your boating plans.

Visiting on Friday? We serve drinks (including cocktails) after the KNRM talk finishes. We would love to hear about your day, exchange experiences and raise a glass together. Finally, a shuttle service is available to hotels in the surrounding area. Please contact Sip Maes for the options.
